Who we look for
A friendly and talented butcher, you’ll enjoy using your traditional skills to prepare, merchandise and provide the freshest of food to the highest of standards. Helping to keep everything in your department running smoothly, you’ll maximise product availability, continually develop your skills and enjoy good opportunities for progression.
Your craft skills will enable you to cut, slice, steak, dice, mince, bone out and flavour meat for our customers. You should also be able to beat sales targets and minimise waste through careful stock handling, date code checking, rotation and storage. A good communicator proud to deliver fresh British meat and the best shopping experience for our customers, you’ll need a good understanding of food safety guidelines and housekeeping practices.
