In 2013, we launched in 50 stores as a kidswear brand. In 2017 we launched our first ladieswear range. And in 2020, we made the move into menswear. Today you’ll find us in more than 450 Stores as well as online and - and we're still growing fast.
In fact, with a £200m turnover, we sell more clothes than many major high street names, and regularly feature within the top 10 retailers in the childrenswear market.
Based in Coalville, our 60+ strong team manages all clothing categories from babies and kids to adults. Across Nutmeg, you’ll find all kinds of people working in everything from category teams, to merchandising, online and more.
Nutmeg Buyers combine commercial flair, a real eye for a winner and the people skills to negotiate with our overseas suppliers. Buyers plan ranges with our customers in mind and work closely with Design, Technical and Merchandising to source and buy terrific ranges.
A Designers job at Nutmeg is fast paced and exciting. Working closely with our Buyers, they quickly see their ideas come to life as samples, as they research trends and forecast colours from all over the world, initiate our product development process, and create exceptional ranges.
Merchandisers make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time and at the right price. It’s about working closely with our Buying and Design teams to deliver considered ranges, while trading, reviewing sales performance, maximise on sales and profits, and minimising markdown spend.
With an eye on fashion and new shapes, our Technologists work closely with our suppliers to make sure product quality, fit, compliance and safety are all first class.
Branch Merchandisers make sure the correct stock is in the right place at the right time to help us maximise sales. The role begins at initial allocation of stock to stores, and covers reviewing store performance, taking appropriate action, and more.
Our Visual Merchandisers work at ‘the sharp end’ of retail. They make sure our shop floors look as exciting as possible, and plan and create the kind of displays that drive maximum sales.
Our online team develops, maintains and trades from our Nutmeg website. It’s about providing our customers with a great experience, that includes making sure they’re well informed and highly engaged.
